None of your business!


NONE of your business ... ideas ... make sense anymore.

As the business world has gone into a tail spin, technology changes the way business is done ona daily basis. Can the future be predicted at this pace? Can the past be used as a reference to work towards the future?
For this assignment you will click on the title or the link below to go to YouTube and watch a video on the future of business, which is directly linked to what we have been talking about.
Your assignment is to watch the video, take notes. You will write an essay on what you understood, your impressions, what surprised you, what you already knew, what you agree with and what you disagree with. You must apply critical thinking. You must go beyond the surface in an essay. Look at your writing tips on connecting sentences. You can also go to http://www.doctorralf.blogspot.com/ to watch the video on conjunctions.
Your essay must be at least 700 words, and should be mailed in by Wednesday, December 9th, saved as FUTURE_last name.first name.

Webproject for Groups 12 & 33

Dear Students:

As you are all looking at quantity expressions, and mass and count nouns. Your homework/webproject is to write a recipe, IN YOUR OWN WORDS, using mass & count nouns, quantity expressions, articles A, AN, THE.

You need to write the recipe on your own because you will be asked to present the recipe for your classmates, individually.

You CAN NOT download it from the internet, copy it from a cook book or translated from Spanish into English.

The objective is for you to show that you can comunicate an everyday activity on your own.

You will make the recipe on your own. Take pictures, and make a Powerpoint presentation showing all the team members working together, with text explaining the steps, and a picture of the final result. You will mail in your Powerpoint presentation saved as RECIPIE_yourteam. Mail presentation to ralfortiz@gmail.com by Wednesday, December 2 by 11 PM. Mails received after that time will not be accepted
